<p>PREPARATION LESSON 267</p><p>To Confront</p><p>To deal with a difficult problem, situation, or person.</p><p>Example: He forced the country to confront the issue of deforestation.</p><p>To Provide</p><p>To give someone something that they need.</p><p>Example: All meals are provided at no additional cost.</p><p>Concern</p><p>To cause worry to someone</p><p>Example: Try not to worry, there's nothing you can do to change the situation.</p><p>Request</p><p>The act of politely or officially asking for something.</p><p>Example: The boss refused our request to leave work early.</p><p>Availability</p><p>The fact of someone being free to do something.</p><p>Example: I will check the availability of my staff for that date.</p><p>Health Care</p><p>The services provided by an organization that involve caring for people's health and treating people who are ill.</p><p>Example: We want affordable health care for all</p><p>Downside</p><p>A disadvantage of a situation or thing.</p><p>Example: The downside of living here, of course, is that it is expensive.</p><p>Example 2: The new version has many great features, but there are downsides, like there are so many bugs.</p><p>Provision</p><p>The act of providing something.</p><p>Example: The provision of good public transportation will be essential for developing the area.</p><p>Commodity</p><p>A substance or product that can be traded, bought, or sold.</p><p>Example: Oil is a commodity in high demand.</p><p>Constrained</p><p>Forced and unnatural</p><p>Example: Don't feel constrained to do what he says - he has no authority.</p><p>Move with the times</p><p>to change and become more modern, because attitudes or fashions are changing (To update yourself).</p><p>Example: The adults needs to move with the times to understand the new generation</p><p>Lives up to the hype</p><p>To describe when something surpasses expectations or is even better than anticipated.</p><p>Example: The new restaurant in town certainly lived up to the hype, with its delicious dishes and friendly staff.</p>
