uma linguagem que não costu-
ma ser usada em outros tipos de 
comunicação escrita, sobretudo 
em situações formais – trata-se 
da “linguagem da internet”. No 
fórum apresentado, por exem-
plo, é possível encontrar: abre-
viações, como lvl (que significa 
level) e U (que significa you); 
emoticons, que são aquelas 
“carinhas” feitas com símbolos 
e usadas para expressar alguma 
emoção, como :); letras minús-
culas no lugar de letras maiús-
culas, como spanish no lugar de 
Spanish e i no lugar de I, entre 
outras letras minúsculas no iní-
cio de frases; e uso exagerado 
de pontos de exclamação, como 
ocorre na última mensagem.
