Dear Simon,
My name’s Laura Minelli. I am fourteen-year-old student. I am from
Milan, Italy, where I live with my parents. I have got two brothers: Mario and
Roberto. We are good friends.
My father is a computer operator, my mother is a policewoman and my
brother Roberto (23) works in a bank in Venice. They love their jobs. Mario
(20) studies Biology in Rome. He loves writing detective stories, it’s his
favourite hobby. He has got a lovely dog called Sherlock. My two brothers love
animals. They also like playing tennis and computer games.
I also like tennis. I play tennis twice a week and I am quite good at it. I
like music and talking to my friends, too. I love music: I listen to music every
day, it’s my favourite hobby.
I always get up at 7:30. At 8:00 I take the 41 bus to school. My favourite
school subject is Science. I would like to be a scientist. I don’t go home for
lunch, I have it at school. You know, I have classes in the morning and after
lunch. They finish at 4:30 p.m. After dinner I watch TV, listen to music or
phone my friends. I go to bed at 11:00 p.m because I get up early in the
morning.
What about you? Have you got a big family? Do you listen to music
every day? Do you do sports?
