Subframe Introduction

1.1 AN5000_Introduction

The AN5000 series sub-frames are divided into the AN5516-01 series, AN5516-04 series, and AN5516-06 series, which are introduced below.

The AN5516-06 series sub-frame is a medium-sized, medium-capacity, medium-density box-type

OLT frame, providing slots 9-16, 19-20, and 24-26, of which slots 11-16 are service disk slots, 9-

10 are switch control disk slots, 19-20 are uplink disk slots, 24-25 are power disk slots, and 26 is a

CIO disk slot. Users can use the plug-in type according to business needs to flexibly carry out

business.

The AN5516-01 series sub-frame is a large, high-capacity, high-density box-type OLT frame, providing slots

1-20, of which 1-8, 11-18 are service disk slots, 9-10 are switch control disk slots, and 19-20 are upper link

disk slots. Users can use the plug-in type to flexibly carry out business according to business needs.

AN5516-01 series sub-frames can be divided into V3.3 old sub-frames, V4.1 new sub-frames, and V4.0 new sub-frames according to the backplane bandwidth.

Separate

introduction

V3.3 The slot bandwidth of the old subframe is 10G, the backplane bandwidth is 832Gbps, the three-stage upper-mounted pluggable fan tray, and the power tray interface is located at the bottom.

The lower part of the frame provides ESC, ALM, EMS interfaces, DC-48V power supply, and low-cost sub-frame.

The slot bandwidth of the new sub-frame in V4.1 is 10G, the backplane bandwidth is 912Gbps, the integral top-mounted pluggable

fan tray, the power tray interface is top-mounted, the upper part of the frame provides DC1-3, ESC, ALM, EMS, 1PPS/TOD, BITS,

GPIO1, GPIO2 interfaces, supports pluggable HSWD disks (including HSWD with 1588 function), DC-48V power supply, and low-

cost sub-frame.

The slot bandwidth of the new sub-frame in V4.0 is 80G for slot 1 and 40G for other slots, with a backplane bandwidth of 3.76Tbps,

an integrated top-mounted pluggable fan tray, a top-mounted power tray interface, and DC1-3, ESC, ALM, and EMS interfaces on

the top of the frame. It supports pluggable HSWD disks (including HSWD with 1588 function), DC-48V power supply, and a high-

cost sub-frame. The

main difference is that the old 06 sub-frames do not support HSWD disks (including HSWD with 1588 function), while the new 06

sub-frames support pluggable HSWD disks. In addition, the CIO disks, power disks, power cords, and fan disks of the old and new

sub-frames are different and cannot be used interchangeably. See Figure 2 for a comparison of the old and new sub-frames.

The AN5516-04 series sub-frame is a box-type OLT frame, providing slots 1-2, 9-10, 24-25, of which slots 1-2 are service disk slots.

Slots 9-10 are the switching control upper link disk slots, and slots 24-25 are the power disk slots.

Users can use the plug-in type according to business needs to flexibly develop business.

The AN5516-04

series sub-frames are divided into old AN5516-04 sub-frames and new AN5516-04 sub-frames. The old 04 sub-frame only supports one uplink

The main control panel HSUA, 04 new sub-frame supports two uplink main control panels HSUB or HSUC.
