benefícios da leitura (disponível em:

and answer the question that follows.
What kind of information can you
fi nd in the book review? Write the
correct answers in your notebook.
a. Genre. X
b. How the story ends.
c. Where the story takes place. X
d. Adjectives to describe the story. X
e. Name of all characters in the
story.
Writing and Rewriting

swap event at school. Follow these steps:
• Choose a book you have at home that you have fi nished
reading.
• Wrap it with paper.

its title or author’s name. You can use the one in activity 2 as an
example.

feedback.
• Rewrite your review based on the feedback you had and make
any improvements and necessary corrections.
• Put your review on the book’s wrapping paper.
• Bring your book (with your review on its wrapping paper) to class
and display it at the appropriate place for the book swap event.

3. Para esta atividade, combine
uma data com os estudantes
para promover o evento de tro-
ca de livros. Nesse dia, eles de-
vem trazer um livro embrulhado
em papel pardo ou outro tipo de
papel, com a resenha que escre-
veram sobre o livro. Oriente os
estudantes durante a produção
de seus textos e novamente
chame a atenção para a ativida-
de 2, que serve de exemplo. Por
fi m, disponha os livros na sala
de aula de forma que eles pos-
sam ler as resenhas e, assim,
escolher uma obra para levar
