It doesn’t involve much technology, but it involves a lot of creativity. Ao final da atividade, peça a
alguns estudantes que relatem resumidamente ou mencionem algo que foi debatido em seu gru-
po. No Manual do Professor, você encontra mais orientações sobre a condução desta subseção e
uma sugestão de como envolver um professor da área de Ciências Humanas e Sociais Aplicadas.

1. Escreva no quadro as frases
ao lado e os exemplos com be
going to (a seguir, em Be Going
To) e diga que elas são retira-
das do texto estudado na seção
Reading. Pergunte aos estudan-
tes se as frases estão se referin-
do ao passado, presente ou fu-
turo (a resposta é futuro). Peça
que identifi quem as formas ver-
bais nas frases e sublinhe-as no
quadro. Pergunte o que há em
comum nas formas verbais su-
blinhadas (algumas frases têm
will, e outras, uma forma de to
be + going to). Diga que essas
são duas formas de futuro em
inglês, que serão estudadas
nesta Unidade. Em seguida,
peça que realizem as atividades
da seção Language Study.
TIP
Em linguagem informal,
é muito comum o uso
do termo gonna no
lugar de going to. A
frase Technology is
going to come for our
jobs poderia, se usada
em conversação, em
uma roda de amigos ou
em um registro informal,
ser substituída por
Technology is gonna
come for our jobs.
