My name is Lily, I’m thirteen years old and today I’m going to tell you about my school. It’s a big yellow building with three floors. On the ground floor, there is the school office. Next to the school office is the staffroom, where the teachers have meetings and spend their breaks. On the first floor, there’s a modern canteen where we have lunch. The food is fantastic and very healthy! Behind the canteen, there’s a gym. We have PE there twice a week. And outside, there’s a big playground where we play sports and hang out. On the second floor, there are classrooms, two computer rooms and a library. I love the library because it’s a calm place full of interesting books. Oh, I almost forgot! The lab is on the second floor too, and we do fun experiments there. B. Part 2 I take my backpack to school every day. It’s sometimes heavy, so there are some things I leave on my desk in the classroom. For example, my pencil case, my ruler and my notebook. I don’t have my pencil sharpener at the moment, it’s at home. But I do have a rubber on my desk to correct my maths exercises! C. Part 3 A typical school day for me starts at half past seven. I get up, have a shower and get dressed. Then I join my family downstairs for breakfast and mum drives me to school. On Mondays, I have English, maths and history. On Tuesdays, I have science, geography and music. On Wednesdays, I have art and then PE in the gym. Thursday is my busiest day! I’ve got maths, chemistry and ICT. And Friday is my favourite day of the week because I have English and then two hours of theatre club! After school, I usually do my homework, then I watch some videos or read a book. I’m usually in bed by ten o’clock.
