Um texto nunca mantém neutralidade sobre um assunto, ou um acontecimento. Seja pela opção de palavras, ou pela forma com que um assunto é abordado, é comum que o autor assuma – mesmo que de modo discreto – um ponto de vista. 
Entender o posicionamento crítico de um texto nos ajuda a compreender a produção como um todo, pois conseguimos entender alguns significados de palavras desconhecidas. 
Por exemplo, se um texto apenas ressalta os pontos positivos sobre algo ou alguém, provavelmente, encontraremos mais de um adjetivo (qualidade) ao longo da leitura e, entre essas palavras, talvez tenha alguma que nunca tenhamos visto. Porém, devido ao contexto e ao tom do texto, é possível deduzir que se trata de um adjetivo positivo.

Toda a aula
Tempo: em todos os momentos que envolvem a análise do texto, as resoluções das questões deverão ser finalizadas, preferencialmente, em 5 minutos, considerando, inclusive, o tempo de execução do arquivo de áudio. 
Dinâmica de condução: as atividades propostas em duplas ou trios no início da aula são muito importantes, uma vez que ajudam no levantamento do conhecimento prévio dos estudantes sobre o tema central do texto. Por isso, é importante também que os alunos comparem suas respostas, antes de realizar a correção dos exercícios e a apresentação da resolução das atividades.
