EU compliance EU RoHS statement, CE marking, Directive 2014/53/EU (RED) Article 10.10 compliance EU RoHS statement This equipment complies with the European Union RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The directive applies to the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB), and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE) in electrical and electronic equipment. FCC Part 15 compliance Note: This equipment has been tested and is compliant with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction,may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. For more information about maintaining, see Maintaining Flexi Cabinet for Indoor FCIA. 4.1 FCIA description Flexi Cabinet for Indoor (FCIA) (470152A) is available for Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS installations where additional protection is needed or where the number of modules prevents installation in a stack. FCIA provides 36U space and 19-inch free space for installing Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS modules and for optional site support. The cabinet is made of a hot-dip galvanizing steel plate and is used for indoor installations requiring a secure cabinet, including large indoor configurations exceeding 22U that need earthquake protection. The FCIA cabinet doesn't carry any electrical functionality, as it doesn't have traditional backplanes or electronics. The cable entries are located at the top of the cabinet. External cables are connected directly to the Flexi modules inside the cabinet. The main advantages of FCIA include: several hours of shared battery backup for a single cabinet with one or two BTSs. additional space for other 19-inch units. earthquake protection for configurations with more than six modules. Issue 12 Figure 6: FMBB overview FPRB FPRB (CS7000030) is a modular 6 kW output power AC rectifier consisting of three individual 2 kW and 3 kW AC/DC power modules operating in parallel mode. FPRB outputs a positive earthed –54 VDC (V48N) as a BTS operational supply voltage rail and for site battery charging. It supports Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS configurations in indoor and outdoor cabinets, as well as stack, pole, and wall configurations. FSEE You can install FSEE (473751A.101) on the cabinet roof and use it to extend the Flexi BTS alarm connector up to 24 alarms. FCOA provides additional shielding for the BTS site and space for auxiliary devices. FCOA provides 19-inch wide free space for installing BTS modules. It has an aluminum chassis enclosed with aluminum sides and door. You can lock the cabinet door with a triangle door-open key. For additional protection, you can also lock the cabinet with a padlock using the provided padlock fastener. FCOA doesn't have any electrical functionality and doesn't increase BTS site power draw. The cabinet protects the BTS and cables against external damage and foreign objects. Configurations exceeding 22U require earthquake protection. The Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS system and RF modules are IP65 weather-protected. FCOA is an option for sites where further protection is needed. The main benefits of FCOA include: module and cable protection against severe weather conditions, such as wind-driven rain. earthquake protection for Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS configurations with more than six modules (WCDMA, EDGE, WiMax, or LTE). FPMA can house up to three AC/DC rectifiers, each of which has an output power of 1 kW 48 V DC power. Additionally, FPMA can house up to three battery submodules, which can provide up to one hour of battery backup time when the AC power mains is down on a typical 1+1+1 Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS site. You can connect two hardware alarms from FPMA directly to the Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS system module using an Ethernet RJ-45 cable.
